These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Bear Spray Trainingonline training platform (the “Platform”), operated by Backcountry Wildlife Monitoring Ltd. 1. The training and certification

The Platform provides online wildlife-awareness and bear-spray training courses. Completing a course and passing its final assessment issues a certificate of completion. 4. Examinations and retakes

5. Refunds

6. Intellectual property and licence

7. Bear spray — important safety and legal notice

Bear spray is a regulated pest-control product in Canada. The following applies to the bear-spray training and to any bear-spray product you may be issued or use:

8. Your account

9. Suspension and termination

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Platform and the training are provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BCWM disclaims all warranties and is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from wildlife encounters, the use or misuse of bear spray, or reliance on the training. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version and its “Last updated” date are always posted on this page. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date, and your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
